DEPLOY/US and Partner-Grantees Invited to Attend Raising Hope Conference at Castel Gondolfo

Members of our team traveled to Rome for a conference marking the 10th anniversary of Laudato si’, Pope Francis’s encyclical on humanity’s relationship with the natural world and one another. The conference featured a keynote address by Pope Leo XIV, introduced by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and convened religious leaders alongside leading climate nonprofits and philanthropic organizations. Participation of DEPLOY/US’ right-of-center climate action colleagues—including the Evangelical Environmental Network and Our Common Home—alongside DEPLOY/US ensured dialogue across the political spectrum.
