DEPLOY/US Partner-Grantees Testify Before Congress

Testimony on Clean Energy Permitting Before the House Natural
Resources Committee

DEPLOY/US’ Ecoright field partner-grantees are front and center in Congressional debates on permitting for new energy infrastructure development. On September 10, Thomas Hochman (Foundation for American Innovation), Nick Loris (C3 Solutions), and Jeremy Harrell (ClearPath) gave testimony on clean energy federal permitting requirements to the Natural Resources Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. They emphasized that policymakers should update permitting processes to better address America’s energy, infrastructure, and conservation needs, and that they can do so without weakening environmental protections.
