More Than Half of the Field’s 2025 Growth Was Attributable to DEPLOY/US

Data from DEPLOY/US’ third annual field survey shows that right-of-center field organizations grew by a record 36% in 2025, with more than half of that growth attributable to DEPLOY/US’ grantmaking and the funding we helped catalyze. Though the entire field remains smaller than a single “Big Green” environmental organization, DEPLOY/US partner-grantees (and Deploy Action’s 501(c)(4) partners) played influential roles in dozens of state and federal bills in 2025. Taken together with a 60% increase in fieldwide policy research capacity over two years, these gains reflect a dramatic expansion in the field’s ability to shape policy, mobilize trusted validators, and drive climate and clean energy outcomes.
